Service Commissions
The People Resourcing and Compliance Directorate, of the Ministry of the Public Service, is the secretariat for the Service Commissions. This support takes the form of:-
a) providing Secretariat support for the Service Commissions.
b) submission of matters for the attention and consideration of the Commissions.
c) attendance at meetings when required to do so by the respective Commission.
d) ensuring that documents, and papers are made available to the Commission.
e) implementing decisions of the various Commissions.
The Service Commissions are not full time bodies.
- The Public Service Commission now Administrative, Technical and Professional Commission, meets weekly on Mondays .
- The Protective Services Commission and the Judicial and Legal Service Commission meet every third Wednesday and fourth Thursday, respectively.
ABOUT US
The Ministry of the Public Service was created in January 2019, through the amalgamation of the entities: Ministry of the Civil Service, Personnel Administration Division, and Training Administration Division.
